Designer / Draftsperson

 

Rosebush Wilson and Associates Inc is an expanding design and drafting company specializing in industrial and mechanical projects based in Peterborough, ON that offering fast-paced working environment with competitive wages and benefits.

 

Our firm primarily uses Autodesk Suite Products (Inventor & AutoCAD) in part to design foundations and structure for buildings and equipment; building services, process piping, processing skids, and bulk handling equipment.

 

Our office provides an inclusive working environment.  We believe in providing premium quality services in all aspects of our work for our clients in the south-central Ontario area and internationally.

 

We are looking for designers with at least three to four years of experience with proficiency working on large and small scale industrial projects.  Prospective employees will be responsible to work independently and as a team, conduct site visits and measurements as needed.   Designers must be able to express themselves clearly and conduct themselves in a professional manner.   Creative thinking and problem solving is a must.  A background in structural, mechanical, process, electrical or architectural drafting, design or engineering an asset.

 

About the area:

Peterborough is located between Toronto and Ottawa.  Peterborough will be only 20 minutes from the eventual end of highway 407 at highway 115/35.  Peterborough is a city of 81,000 (circa 2016) offering great shopping, entertainment, sports.  Peterborough hosts two Fleming College campus locations and Trent University.

 

We will be moving into new offices as part of the company’s growth; remaining in Peterborough.

 

We offer:

• Competitive wage from: $35,000 to $50,000 (to be negotiated based on experience)

• Full time employment: 40-44 hours per week with options for overtime
